Well, I must say I’m disappointed that Indiana beat Iowa last night in Big Ten play. I was really hoping that Indiana would pull a winless conference season this year, but I guess it wasn’t to be. At least they couldn’t have picked a better team in the conference to beat but the hated Hawkeyes. :-p
Also, despite it coming at home, our loss to Clemson isn’t looking quite as bad after they put the beat-down on #3 Duke last night, 74-47. Crazy.
I do miss college basketball. I hope to listen to the Illinois-Wisconsin game online tomorrow… Go Illini!
In other news, my internet access just went out for a couple minutes, so I turned on the TV to see if it was a general outage or just the internet. I was able to watch a bit of Cops (and nothing but Cops) before the cable went too. It’s back now, and I discovered I get at least some version of ESPN, because I see the Celtics beating the Pistons in Detroit (gotta be a replay…)
Finally, one of my targeted Facebook advertisements, which I found humorous: (I assume NRI is non-resident Indian…)

Ok, just to comment here:
1. You're still bitter we stole Eric Gordon from you. Now granted, we didn't exactly live up to expectations last year and now he's in the NBA. He decommitted from U of I to attend a better school. Deal with it.
2. Lets see how many games you can win when two of the players from last years team return (both walk-ons, btw). We returned 1.2 ppg from last years team and play with seven freshmen. Just fielding a team this year was a chore let alone trying to win any games. I said before the season started if Crean found a way to win 10 games this year then they should hang a banner for it next to our five NCAA championship banners (five banners...no big deal, btw)
3. I agree we couldn't have picked a better team to beat last nite than Iowa. I'll give you that one...:)
4. I'd totally jump on that facebook ad. It's a cost effective matrimonial network that works. You can't afford not to find your life partner in the next few months you're there.
Shouldn’t that be Minister Crabtree? You’re not a lawyer, but you are right about finding a life partner on the cheap.
Of course, the modern usage of the word is for lawyers. However, the old British version is used to refer to a person of higher class. Just a FYI...
Anyway, "The Rev" suits me just fine.
